Sims mailbox glitch

I too would like to know if there is a fix for this without having to move. EDIT: It might be worth mentioning that a meteor hit my yard and this started to happen right after I had replaced all of the damaged stuff, and the mailbox was not right in it's path, but none the less there is not option to "fix" it either so I'm at a loss.. March I have the same problem, every time any of my sims go to get the mail they go to the box and pull out a package then reset to a differnt spot but no mail is retreved.

It's just that they are trapped, I went to the dog park and tried to get them their too. But It said that my sims are trapped its says that on all 6 of them I can't even press the mail box to re-set them so I applied the karma Meteor strike at their spot even when they are ghost they still are stuck. I even tried to move but it says that my sims can't move at the moment.
