Pearstone freewave wireless remote manual

So, it's take your pick, I guess. Not missing anything I've been using RFN-4s for more than a year now with my D Here's my recent test results. I have had terrible luck with other Vello Wireless Remotes.

This one is junk. Replaced the first one and had same problems. It either stops working or starts shooting by itself. Also caused my camera to malfunction. Here is the Vivitar version of the same remote. Fortunately, my credit card gives me an extra year warranty, so replacement costs has been minimal. Lost shots miles from home due to malfunctions have been irreplaceable. Currently shopping for another type of Wireless Remote for my D Hopefully no permanent damage [ I used it with my DS and more recently with D No complains.

I have looked at the Nikon, but way too pricy for me. Also, I mainly want it for long exposures and read this comment at Amazon. One has to hold the button down for as long as you need the exposure. Paul, I need the ability to lock up the shutter when in bulb mode for long exposures. I don't want to have to hold the button down during long exposures. Why would Nikon make a Wireless Remote that does not lock up the shutter when in bulb mode? When light painting, I may be climbing boulders, trees, buildings etc..

I'm still upset with Nikon for not fixing my mm the first time I sent it in for repair, while under warranty. I sent it in again to fix what they did not fix the first time, but by that time the warranty had run out. Needless to say I was outraged. So, I prefer not to give them any more money unless absolutely necessary. Nikon charges way too much for parts and accessories. The hood falls off too easy.

My original one is somewhere in Arches National Park. I'm just going by recent comments I read at Amazon and Nikon. Unbelievable over-sight Nikon. I was using this with my D I'm not jealous. You'd have to reprogram the receivers to all except the same signal somehow. How do you think we can buy a camera and remote separately and they simply work? I did not need to reprogram it or the camera, each time I upgraded the camera. Looks like a nifty little piece of kit. There are 3 ways that I can think of to achieve this.
