So none of the Support peeps can help me out here?? It's almost the same. I think both are G70 or one is a G Anyways, they should be very similar.

I had a which also worked best with same drivers. Also I think I should mention the reason I'm looking for a better driver. It has something to do with the HD signal format. So when I select P all my P videos play fine, but if I play anything else the cracks will appear around the border of the video.

When I select P my P will have the cracks. I'm pretty sure people don't change their HD signal format every time they watch a video right? Is anybody familiar with this problem? I have the same problem as moonknight with mine GT and I would like to know if there is any solution Hey, Just found this thread.

I have same problem with GT. The Video and windowed games run great, but I am having a few issues with games that I installed before I updated. I am trying to re-install them now to see if it helps at all. You'll have problems with games with such new drivers. Use the ones from may, The VGA monitor works with the latest drivers.

When I look at the icon in the system tool I can see reason that DVI monitor isn't working is that it has been set to analogue. With the However windowed games run fine with better performance than the old drivers. When I first installed it i got a message asking if my Gcard supported DVI, any ideas how to get that back up? Sorry to hijack this thread - but I'm kind of desperate. I've got a strange problem. My main desktop computer which could play Half-Life2, Team Fortress2, Command and Conquer Zero Hour with no problems for the last 4 years - has developed a serious strange problem.

I've done it before many times and usually have no problems doing it. This time however the screen becomes seriously oversize - double size. My native resolution is x widescreen. Initially I thought the graphic card has gone screwy as the ingame graphics for Command and Conquer is a lower resolution and probably not designed for widescreen. But in the desktop settings the resolution is still set at the native resolution but the screen resolution is erroneous displaying the incorrect resolution - and its also expanded the resolution range to x etc So I restart the computer but it refuses to display any information now, no splash screen, no BIOS screen, nothing.

OK, this happened before last week. A quick reboot couldn't fix it. However it worked when I switched off the computer for awhile, unplugged the mains, and it came back OK.

What could be the problem? Is myGraphic cards dying? I just switched on my computer after a 30 minute rest.
